Stop the Spread of GERMS

This silly little public service announcement catches my eye every day on my way to work. At first I thought this poster (this particular one at King and Dufferin in west Toronto) was a joke – doesn’t it look like a spoof ad? – but it is entirely serious. What’s amazing about it is the idea, the embodiment of socially responsible Canada, down to taking care of your very own germs.

Hey between loud hip hop ringtones, eating whole meals on public transit, and the sheer existence of republicans, its clear that there is no longer any common sense and decency.

We need WAY more ads like this, IMHO.

See?!! I just sneezed on my desk without using a tissue or my sleeve. (for real)

Too true, Eric. Cover up your mouth next time. Try to be a little more Canadian. :)
