Delinear – Chris Hosmer

Last summer, a small gallery opened up around the corner from me. Unfortunately, it took me months to realize that some of my very talented neighbors were running the whole thing. Last week when I walked by the gallery I was floored by the fantastic installation from local artist Chris Hosmer called Delinear.

I’ve always had a soft spot for whales, and something about this piece makes me want to peel it right off the wall and take it home. Chris created this tape drawing on site at 55 Norfolk – you can check out a video of his process, and get more information on it right here.

You can see the installation in person at 55 Norfolk, I believe it will still be up for their presentation night this Saturday from 7:30-10pm if you want to drop by then.
