I recently ran across the work of local artist and designer Josh Wisdumb, and immediately was drawn to the linear patterns and industrial undertones of his work. I love the play between seemingly delicate and structured lines on the paper.
Josh studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Art here in Boston, and shortly after he graduated was recruited by New Balance to design a custom shoe for them. It’s so fantastic to see an artist’s work repurposed for an everyday, functional object – art you can wear.
You can check out Josh’s full collection of work on his website here. Prints of his work are available to order – you can contact him via email at jwisdumb@gmail.com for more information.
